Lodestar Children's Services Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting
Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will hold a Ribbon Cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Lodestar Children’s Services at 11am on Thursday, September 12, 2024. They are located at 234 Airport Plaza Blvd Suite 11B, Farmingdale, NY.
Lodestar Children’s Services is a dedicated nonprofit serving Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. Their mission is to bring essential mental health support directly into the homes of children and young adults, ages 0-21, along with their caregivers. Their goal is to ensure that youth with mental health needs can thrive in the comfort and safety of their own homes, rather than in institutions. They believe this approach offers the best chance for lasting positive outcomes. They’re thrilled to announce the opening of their first drop-in center for the youth in our program. This center will be a vibrant space where families can access support, learn vital life skills, participate in engaging workshops, and so much more. They invite you to join them in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.
