Veterans Benefits Presentation

On September 19th, the Hugh C Newman III Memorial American Legion Post 449 will be hosting a Veterans Benefits presentation by the Nassau County Veterans Services Agency.  This is an opportunity for Farmingdale Veterans to learn about some little known benefits and to ask questions and get accurate information. Subjects to be covered are:

•  ELIGIBILITY FOR VA HEALTHCARE
•  SERVICE CONNECTED DISABILITY CLAIMS PROCESS AND REVIEW
•  PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS FOR VETERANS
•  SURVIVORS BENEFITS
•  AIDE AND ATTENDANCE BENEFIT FOR THOSE NEEDING CARE
•  BURIAL BENEFITS

The presentation will be made at VFW Post 516 located at 635 Main Street, Farmingdale at 7PM.  Refreshments will be available to all attendees.  However, you must RSVP by calling (516) 847-1904 after August 15th and leave a message.
