Workshop with Local History Librarian Natalie Korsavidis
Sunday, March 23rd at 2:00 pm, at Farmingdale Village Hall
World War II was a time filled with fear, uncertainty, patriotism, and a strong sense of community. Farmingdale was no different. Local history librarian Natalie Korsavidis will share stories gathered from oral histories, first hand accounts, the local newspaper, and more about what life was like in Farmingdale during this time.
Hear stories about the soldiers, the residents, and how the Village prepared for the wartime years.
