One spouse and 6 adult children and 16 grandchildren. Retired as Director of NYC Parks & Recreation in 2008. Worked as a consulting arborist for ten years and currently certified by the International Society of Arborists. Secretary of the Parks Retirees Association and newly installed Commander of the Hugh C Newman III American Legion Post - 449.
